        • “A Binary Digit” (Bit) is the smallest unit system in a digital computer system. A “bit” is the smallest component of data a computer can process. 1 bit (binary digit*) = the value of 0 or 1.
        • A Byte in the computer system is a part of data that is “eight binary digits” (Bit) long.
